Hi Jackie,

this is great news. I also want to expand my speaking career into business conferences. Did this organization contact you or did you query them?

Julie, I know what you say is true. One of the reasons it is so hard to focus is because creatives see so many possibilities. Many times they want to pursue them all at the expense of their own financial success. But certainly what you say is true, the publishing business is changing drastically right now. And if your market has moved then you have to move too. So I think you are changing your delivery method more than you are changing your focus. Best to you!

Hi Jackie,

I know what you say is true, but it's hard to choose one idea isn't it! So many creative people suffer from too many creative ideas.

Creativitis!

The idea is often more exciting than the execution.

I'm a writer and have always worked in traditional print media- this industry is changing and not for the better, so I'm now going to focus on recording my work. I think this is a very specific niche that will be less time consuming and more lucrative. It makes no sense to keep writing books when I can record them in half the time.

Thanks for your blog. It always reminds me that I need to focus on one project and do it well.
